So.... intercoms are new to me,
I've been recently looking into them.
The consensus seems to be that any major
brand and model will match up , but I see there's
much more to the story than that.
First off , we need 'Mesh' for more than
two riders with many if not most units.
I bought a Fodsports FX7 10-Rider, 'mesh,
they said it works with up to 10 riders, great,
I got it and as I dug further I saw that they
forgot to mention that all units would have
to be mesh and Fodsport Brand lol,
if there wasn't just 2 units interfacing,
and apparently without the app
I probably couldn't use them period.
Cardo's Freecom4X is good to 4 riders, the
Edge and Pro packtalk are good for up to I think
15 riders.
Also of note is the auto-snitch feature that comes
with Packtalk Edge or Pro, or maybe both that sends
an alert to LE or Paramedics if it detects a fall,
there are obvious good and not so good aspects of
that feature, it would be nice to have help when
you need it, on the other hand there
are plenty of tip over and slide incidents where
we would NOT be keen on having LE or Flight For Life
involved.

Apparently Sena is a good brand also or maybe better
I'm not sure, but what have all of you used for
3 or 4 riders and what have you used for more than
4 riders that worked well?
