So I'm looking at aftermarket stuff to make the new 14R more my unique creation but looks like pretty much all the stuff is the same as back in 2012. Brocks' CT full system, Vortex rearsets, Pazzo levers (except I think the Chinese ran Pazzo out of business but you can get lots of faux Pazzos on line), aftermarket gas caps all the friggin same as they were in 2012, BST wheels or Carrazzeria which is now Core Moto...... I could go on. I was expecting to make this new 14 different from my 08 but there's nothing new. In a way, I guess that's good because I know all the stuff to get. In another way, I guess it's entirely normal to have many of the same aftermarket parts on the 14R as the Gen1 had, they already have a lot of the same OEM parts.

I looked into it just a bit but at this point, I'm more interested in turbo. After looking into turbo quite thoroughly with the help of danmin and a few other members, I've determined that's not something I can do to a brand new bike. I'll buy a used 14R and turbo it ...and then I'll have to buy all the same other stuff I bought for my two other ZX-14s to finish the details off!

It's true, I just looked at mirror block offs and they're still the same ones from 2012. The best bar end mirrors are the same. Some products have gone off the market but you can count on the Chinese to still be making copies. I was hoping to try all new stuff on this bike but if it's mostly all the same, that saves me a lot of research. I went through it years ago.
