BJ5 - Yes it will. I have a 2012 header on my 2010 with no modifications. My header came with m4 slip ons for the 2012. Everything bolted on with not one clearance issue or modification. I cannot confirm that the stock 2nd gen mufflers will fit the 1st gen bikes though. I even have a second cooling fan. -Zach

BJ5 - When I found my exhaust I tried to do some research and found very few people that said it would fit. I was able to talk the guy on craigslist down to $150 for the header and the slip ons so I figured I'd take a chance. I did try the slip ons on the 2010 header and they did fit, they weren't perfect but very close. Once I put the 2012 header on everything fit just like it was made for it. I had everything stripped and ceramic coated so it all looks like new and I still only have about $400 in the whole exhaust. The ceramic coating is awesome! I can shut the bike off after riding and after about 5 minutes I can touch the header and its barely warm to the touch. The radiant heat from the exhaust is all but none existent, which makes it a whole lot better than it was with the cats trying to cook you as you rode or were sitting in traffic.
