Ride bikes, fall down...

Well, it finally happened - I paid off the bike loan, and not a month later I took a low speed spill in a roundabout (front tire washed out on the damn directional arrow paint). Besides my ego, there was little physical damage - because I always ride with all the gear on, but the bike wasn't as lucky. Really, nothing more that i've found so far other than cosmetic damage: Lower left faring destroyed, left Givi bag has a good smear, Givi bag frame took a lot of stress, and some light scratches to the left front signal and mirror?!? Frame sliders did a decent job of keeping the bike off my leg and the Givi bags did the rest. No exhaust pipe damage or mechanical/engine damage - I was able to get her up and running right away and drove her home issue free.

Suck!!!

Good news is I found the link to the Givi rack and hard bags, Pixel phone and watch "crash detection" don't work, but my Airbag vest DOES! (Stay-puffed Marshmallow man anyone?)

Glad you're ok, DT. Sorry about the bike but look at the bright side, you just need to buy a few parts and it's good as new. It really sucks to have to buy stuff you already paid for but the damage could have been a lot worse.
