Hey, I'm new to this fourm. I'm chris, originally from Virginia. Ive been living in KY for the last two years. I'm planning on keeping my 636 track and buy a 2014 zx14 when I come home from my deployment. I mainly want the zx14 to cruise with my girl around the country, not for the speed. I want a big comfortable bike. just got a quick question. Is 2012-2014 zx14 the same bike? If there are same I'm going to buy the 2012 and try to get a good deal.

Yeah, pretty much the same bike. The only difference is you can't get a 2012 with ABS.

2012-14 are in fact the same bike just color option differences. If your looking for a big comfy bike and aren't really in it for the speed, in my opinion this isn't the bike for you. It is comfortable, but not for cross country riding. There are tons of better bikes suited for that. It is more comfortable than your typical sport bike but only by a narrow margin.

"Not for the speed", well I hope you like going fast anyway.
