good morning fellow kwaka riders, a point of interest .. the face shields these days have little pins one either side for racing or what ever ,, i dont do that anymore well much anyhow. back to it. the pins get caught on clothes and stuff when taking skid lid on or off, so my hack took out pins, went to windscreen place got a few little stickers clear stuck one over each of the holes to prevent wind whistling loud as .. and bobs your aunty ,silence on the hiway, except for the heavenly sound of the burgle of the brocks pipe,,, are aint life grand ... oh the stickers are the ones you put on windsreen chips ,capeesh ,, hoping this helps in anyway. hey rook i see you have a new 24 zxi4 mate im jealous u lucky lucky bastard, the culour is it the same as we get here in OZ, just curious a friend of mine has the 2024 one its a kinda matte maroon colour with the main a kinda matte grey scheme , looks really great . and hey the go like a shower of shit when u crack that throttle , aint it fun ha ha ,

Good idea. I always wanted a face shield WITH pin locks though. The RuRoc I bought a couple years back has pinlocks but they're only on the inside of the face shield and only to secure the anti-fog screen that came with the helmet. What I really would like is the tear-off sheets on the outside. Time for a new helmet, I guess.

Rook buddy,yeah i have an AGV full face with gold iridium shield ,always been an AGV man been around for ever, best helmet out of the lot in my opinion. but i must add me being a 57 model all original parts , except teeth lol ,and wearing prescription shades aviators of course,dont get shades with the uv protection on them. with iridium shield when riding shield down cant see the speedo , have to lift shield to check instrument readings.but coppers wont take that as defence for speeding bbaaahhha, true from personal experience lol, anyways best way to find things out is good old trial and error hey .. in ending the windscreen crack stickers do the job excellently are still there after a few years now i guess uv protected will add a few pics later of the stickers i get here , cheers ,
