So 5 of us went out for a little grudge racing this weekend, marked off a 1/4 mile on some Texas back roads. I didn't do as good as I expected, bike was hooking too good coming off the ground in 2nd. I beat a modded 07 zx10 three times, but then got beat by a modded 08 three times but just by half a bike length, lost 1 race to another zx14 but beat him 2 other times, he was running race gas and his bike was really pulling for only having a juice box and slip ons. I think I am gonna stretch and lower this bad boy over the winter.

Hhaha----- Sounds like you did well to me. You had worthy competition as far as the bikes go, that's for sure.

You did great for first time out. May want to consider re-gearing just a bit if you're planning on
doing more racing next year.
