Aftermarket parts can suck that way. It is quite a feat to make a bar end slider that fits every bike out there for the past 10 years. When Kawasaki makes bar ends, they only need to work for what?--5-6 bikes and all just for that year? No wonder aftermarket parts are so expensive. I'd say about 20% of my mods required some finessing if not outright fabrication or reshaping to fit.
Cannon-was super tight fitting the segments together.
Muzzy BO plates--airbox plug does not fit had to improvise my own plug.
PC5 --perfect but hose damned plugs--OMG!
AutoTune 200 Perfect....coulda gave us a longer CAN cable.
LCD --no real good place to mount on te 14's bars---needed to improvise a spot. Can't complain as there is no right or wrong place to mount a LCD.
SpeedoHealer--One of the harness clips does not lock. I taped it up good.
Shoai 14Ah battery--too small for battery tray had to install a floor to the tray and zip tie all in place
Sprockets--perfect.
EK chain perfect
HM Plus quickshifter Could have given us a bit longer wire to the sensor and it requires 4 locknuts on the linkage + it is not a drop in the bucket to figure out what length rod you need if you are the first one installing for a rearset setup just like yours.
HyperPro damper perfect but what a FPITA to get that center mount screw in AND you have to take the bleeding thing off every time you want to take the tank fairing off----which means better install the tank fairing tabs under the side fairing tabs------or you can't take any fairings off (except maybe the Foremans)without removing the damper.
Pazzo levers perfect fit but there was a question of the perfection of the Chinese levers I had which is why I went to the Pazzos in the first place.
Vortex rearsets. Damn that shift rod that was supposed to be easy to adjust was incredible tight threads. I almost thought it must be cross threaded. Also Vortex cheaped out on supplying all of the proper lock nuts.
EBC brake pads--perfect
Goodridge brake lines Perfect. Amazing, actually. Rear line needs some kind of bracket to hold it to swingarm
Spiegler clutch line --perfect
GoldPlug Perfect
MagKnight perfect but I'm selling it (want to buy it? Never used, Great price!)
Vinyl striping Perfect but def takes some learning to apply
Vertical horizon spools--perfect . How difficult could a spool be? Believe it or not, there are some out there that don't fit the 14 right.
FDIY fender eliminator perfect of course!
Mototech Tag light LED perfect but I did need to come up with my own arrangement of washers and liquid gasket sealant. the threads on the LED were just barely long enough to reach through the mudflap.
CRG bar end mirrors-- lucked out with the aftermarket grips I had installed. They were to short. and this allowed the extra space on the bar ends for the CRG clamps to fit.
Chinese hand grips-- way F-ing tight. Very hard to get on and I know I will need to cut them off some day when I need to change.
Vortex mirror caps Fit was perfect, finish was a pile of crap. Wasted $60 for blue painted fake annodized mirror caps.
LuckyBike bar ends. well, they cover the bar ends. They do not fit like OEM and there is enough material there they could have been CNCed to match right up . Prolly could be solved with a drill press but hey, thet fit, why bother?
Oil filler cap perfect--threads are usually a tiny bit tight on first assembly of any parts.
LightTecjh gas cap perfect.
I think that was more like 80% needed some finessing fabbing or modding
