Hello to all,

I recently purchased a stock 08 ZX-14 with less than 2500 miles on it. It's a shame I've had it almost two weeks and have only been able to ride around the apartment complex thanks to the "bright" people employeed by the DMV. This will be my 2nd bike, my first being an 04 R1 that I started out with years ago. I have only minor mods planned for this 1st riding season, a K&N air filter, Puig DB, and a rear hugger/license plate eliminator at the least. I plan on getting used to the difference in power and soaking up some information on the forum before I make any decisions on changes. I must say I'm excited to have a 14. I believe, along with everyone else on this forum, that the 14 is a better bike than the Busa. I can't wait to log some miles. I'm in Hampton Roads Virginia by the way, if anyone is close.

Welcome and that sucks.Several years ago I blew up my 83Gpz1100.I threw the plate away and when I got my next bike I had to wait 6 weeks.Maybe those jerks at Casey Cycle could help you.I was in the Air Force there.
