2013 White, orig owner, 18K mi

Hey Guys - I might regret this, but I've finally decided to sell my white 2013 ZX14R. One owner (me) since new, bought as new leftover stock in 2014 from Sport Cycles of Rockingham, NC. 18,800 miles. Stored indoors its entire life, always on a battery tender; never allowed to sit with ethanol in it. Never crashed or even fallen over; no dents or dings; everything works like new; starts and runs exactly as new; never any repairs; always just replaced tires, changed oil and brake / clutch fluid and re-tensioned the chain a few times. Always kept on its center stand to keep the weight off the suspension (and tires). All lights and signals work as new, as well as all switches, buttons, gauges, etc. Storing a bike inside its entire life and taking good care of it, this is the result.

Never drag raced; never abused. Never even ridden two-up (my wife doesn't like bikes). It's set up for sport touring with: Top case (Givi V47) which attaches to the SW-Motech ALU-RACK toprack adapter plate that attaches to the SW-Motech ALU-RACK; side cases (Givi V35's) that attach to SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock EVO Contour Sidecarrier side mount brackets (the top case and side cases are keyed alike which is convenient, and the side case mounts also have locks so somebody can't just easily twist the fasteners and walk away with the cases); slightly taller Puig screen; Helibar 1" handlebar risers; Corbin seat; and Kawasaki center stand. The luggage setup cost around $1,250 new in 2015; I'm not sure it's all still available. One very nice thing about the side case carriers is that the tabs they mount to are small enough as to be barely noticeable when the side cases and mounting carriers are not on; they are on the bike in all of the pics.

I have all the original parts as follows, and which you can see in the pic below, and they were all kept inside my house too, so they're also all like brand new: OEM slip-on mufflers; OEM windscreen; OEM chain guard (bike has a Puig combo hugger-chain guard on it that is on the bike and included; I love the look of the hugger); OEM rear seat cowl; OEM "belly pan" which is off since the Kawasaki center stand fits in its place. I also have a spare right-side Muzzy mid-pipe because I had a local welder weld a bracket on the original mid-pipe (which is on the bike now) for the center stand to ride against when in it's up / stowed position (some aftermarket slip-ons included such a bracket, but the Muzzy's didn't, and I preferred the look of the black Muzzy's), and I was concerned the welding might not go well and wanted to make sure I had a replacement on-hand.

Super great condition; I want to say near-perfect, but of course somebody could fine-tooth-comb it and find a little spec here and there. I guess I'd call it a 9.9 / 10, subjective of course. The paint is glossy and fantastic; always kept waxed and ceramic coated. Without knowing the year and mileage I suspect most people would think it's less than a year old and barely off break-in. Also, white seems to be very rare: I only remember seeing 2-3 on this site and don't think I've ever seen another one in person.

I plan to upload all my pics and info to the Bring a Trailer auction site (www.bringatrailer.com) to see if they will run an auction for it, so I'm mostly posting here to let you all know it's for sale and to see if someone wants to make an offer before I go the Bring a Trailer route. For some idea as to what I'm thinking, if I don't get an offer over $10,000 I'll continue on with the Bring a Trailer approach. By the way, Bring a Trailer requires a thorough set of pics of the entire vehicle, so I have about 200 pics showing every inch and every angle, all the parts, documents, etc. I've sold two prior items on Bring a Trailer, and here they are: 2005 Ford GT (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-ford-gt-66/) and a set of Ford GT wheels (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/wheels-458/). I and the bike are a couple hours north of Orlando in Gainesville, FL just 2 miles from I-75 exit 387.

Feel free to ask any questions, and I'm always open to comments and suggestions.

Friggin-A, I'd have come down there with ten Gs to grab that off you a couple years ago.

I'd prefer if you kept the bike and stayed with us extrap. ...or sell the bike and stay with us, whatever you ride after this. I'm not married to kawasaki, I'm still staying right here. We're not a large group but we're a special group.

Hey wait....I need a Gen2 for my turbo project. Not shitting you, I'm about to pay off the new hayabusa but I need a used Gen2 for the turbo project. Have about what you're asking in the bank account after the busa. All seriousness, let's talk. Your price sounds very fair.

...you want to buy her back, you come to Upper Michigan with a trailer. If I haven't started the turbo install (which would likely be a year from now), you can have her back. Probably a couple hundred miles on the bike at most. I rode a lot with two bikes and they each accumulated 500 miles a year. Now, I'd have four.
