No Trackday Busa's
10/18/10 5:15 AM

I have been to three trackdays this year: Thunderhill, Reno-Fernley Raceway and Infineon Raceway. I have seen a few ZX-14's out there, but I have never seen a Hayabusa never, ever on the track. I guess the Busa does not corner very well at all?

Negatory, Cap. My busa is still stock but as far as I can tell, it feels better dropping into a lean that my 14 di when it was stock. Even so, I haven't come close to wearing off the chicken strips on the busa. Haven't ridden it much.

He stated "Thunderhill, Reno-Fernley Raceway and Infineon Raceway" Raceways have these things called corners. I have seen a few Busa at the track but never a zx14 both bikes will turn with enough effort. However I can use a 50 lb sledge to drive finishing nails in to mahogany wood with enough effort.

Funny turn of events. For the past two weekends At our local drag strip the busas guys are telling me all they see is ZX-14s. That was just here. I'm sure the busas out # us 5 to 1.

I guess people are statrting to find out how cheap you can get a 14 vs a Busa. I have never been on the new Busa but I put hundreds of miles on a freinds 05 and that thing felt like the brakes were made out of wood and was way down on power compared to a stock zx14

Busas at the race track.
Just started doing trackdays this year, and this is one from my first trip.

Unfortunatly, I got a little overly optomistic at the last one, and am now scouring Ebay for replacement plastic pieces.

Edit: And I do believe I know the couple in the 2 up knee dragging photo up there. If it's who I think it is, he's also very fast on a Gixxer 1k in the race group at our track.

Yes that is who you are thinking of Tom! He's a great guy and a hell of a rider! Wounder if he got the gixxer fixed, cause he went down at Hallett 1 or 2 sessions after I did.
