I am so looking forward to see Marquez breaking Agostini's record.

And I wish they would bring MotoGP to New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ now that they are no longer racing at Laguna Seca. If it's any consolation, we still have the AMA Pro Road Racing event, the 2014 Kawasaki Devil’s Showdown, September 12-13 at the New Jersey track.

He matched the record but finished 4th last race. I personally don't think we'll see somebody break that record or match it for another 44-45 years but you never know!

Go to Superbikeplanet.com They have the entire sequence of pictures of the whole thing. It's way better than that one picture..By the way, I taught him that skill, except I end up laying in the weeds gazing up at the clouds...

Very similar to the way Marco Simoncelli slid off the right side of his bike like that ... left foot leaving its peg ... but his bike lost traction, then re-gained traction, then Colin Edwards, who I'm sure was looking through the right-hand turn, T-boned him ... an impact which unfortunately Marco did not survive.

Supreme throttle control.

My understanding is the only possible way to save a situation like that is get back on exactly the right amount of gas where as mere mortals like most of us panic and slam the throttle shut.
Not to mention holding the bike up not with his knee but with his side and shoulder!
