I bought a new '09 ZX 14 this past Friday, I traded in an '08 Honda VFR Interceptor. I was not thrilled about trading in the VFR since I liked that bike very much. But. My dealer gave me a test ride on the ZX 14 about two weeks ago and I was instantly hooked on the bike. What a motor! What power! How smooth it is! And (I think) it only outweighs the VFR by 20 lbs or so (I cannot find an official wet weight on the ZX)

The dealer had it marked down to $9,560 (great buyers market) but he only gave me $5,650 trade in on the VFR (horrible sellers market). But I am happy, I love the ZX.

Yes, very nice. I rode an ST 1300 Pan European this past weekend and it has NO go compared to the ZX14. The riding position was very comfortable, I must say, but the lack of power was horrible. Hope you have lots of fun on your new toy.

Congrats man! That's the color of my last one before I totaled her. 8^( She's pretty! As you'll find, there are several "farkles" available for this bike and you'll have fun with it, I'm sure.
