Great forum. I just picked up an 06 with 10,300 because I thought it was a good deal ($4500}. I grew up with Jap. bikes when I was younger, alot younger. My age dictated to me that I should have a Harley which I do and really enjoy when we go out for slow rides. I just seem to still have the urge for that Jap. performance. I picked up a Suzuki Katana to re sell and realized that I could actually ride it. I was amazed that the Katana was fairly quick compared to what I grew up on. So then after a brain fart I grab the 14. OH MY GOD........ Now I have to make it work for my 58 year old body. I don't seem to bend the way I use to.

I had to make mine fit an abused 63 year old body. You made a good buy there and welcome on.

I'm 58 also. I've been both comfortable and uncomfortable on every bike I've owned at one time or another. I just decided I'll be a little uncomfortable to ride the smoothest, fastest and finest machine I've ever ridden.

I put 3/4" risers and put Buell foot pegs on and it made a big difference. The fun factor over rides the discomfort.

It sure does! And I could see by the ear to ear grin on your face every time we stopped during the Bear Mountain meet. Glad you're enjoying the bike!

Hey Dave
There were quite a few grins that day and I am still grinning. I went out for a coffee this morning {120 miles}.
I posted a few p[cs in the other thread and one shot has your bike in the front of the line up.
