A bunch of LED's on the way
09/16/09 12:23 PM

Not that I have really hinted at much of my addiction to lighing (it's also what I do on a part time basis) but I should have my new LEd replacement lamps for the front and rear turn signals along with the front running lights within the next day or two.

I wanted something bright for the rear signals but that Iluminated in red to match the tail light. I chose amber for the front signals and 6K white for the running lights. I hope they are as bright as I expect them to be.

One quick question though, where is the factory flasher unit for the turn signals located at? I'm sure I'll have to replace it being that the LED's have so little current draw.

I installed them all yesterday and I'm pleased with the results. The rear's look great in red and the fronts got a bit brighter than the painted lamps I had in there before. The leds' flash much more quickly now because of the reduced load and I need to swap out the flasher unit for an electronic model as soon as I can find where the hell it is.
