Hey Guys,
Has anyone noticed on the stock exhaust right side just under the foot peg is a tab that is welded
to the pipe and attaches to nothing. I hope it attaches to nothing then no issues. If it is there for
no reason why even have it there because it looks like something is missing or it`s not connected to
something.

Been years since I saw that on my bike but if I recall, it is just there. No apparent reason. Kawi must have had some plans to bolt it to something but whatever the plan was, it never happened. Don't know why they kept making them that way.

I remember reading thread about this very topic way back in 08. No worrries.

actually it's for the rubber bumper if you install a centerstand.

That is the center stand's rubber cushion grommet hole
