the zx uses a set of lowering links in the rear.there r 2 types.the first type has 3 holes that r positioned .the first hole is stock height.the 2nd hole is usually 1.5 " & the 3rd hole is usually 3".the other type is a turnbuckle style..those can be adjusted from stock to anywhere in between.make sure u lower the front as well to make the stance look correct.u can drop the fork tubes thru the triple tree's.u can use a lowering strap.do not use that on the street.or a set of lowering blocks wich r isntalled in the fork tubes.just be careful not to go too low.if u do , u run the chance of hitting your oil pan & or radiator & putting a hole in them.my son did that to his zx-10 & busa'.daddy is never right, now his wallet knows i am.u might run in to heating issues as well due to the lack of airflow.
i lowered my 1.5"in the rear & only a 1/4" in the front, my bike also has a 10 over arm on it as well.
good luck

Look at where your clipons are sitting on your fork tubes. If they are sitting any lower than this, they lowered the front:
If you need/want to lower the front just loosen up the upper and lower triple camps and clipons. Slowly slide everything down to the height you want. Make sure both sides are even, then tighten everything back up. If I remember right, you don't wanna go more that 3/4 of an inch lower on a zx14. If you do the front will bottom out. You also may want to relocate your oil drain plug. Sits pretty low already on the zx14.
