Yet Another PCIII USB Map Question...
12/23/12 3:09 AM

Gday All,
Just ordered a PCIII USB for my Australian spec 2007 ZX-14 which has Yoshimura R-77 slip on's and K&N air filter.
I will also be taking the flies out.
My issue is I loved the Yoshi R-77's and ordered them even though I knew they were designed for a 2008 and later and would not slip straight onto a 2007. But adapted them and now they are A1. But of course this means there are no maps available for this 2007 configuration.
I have called around Sydney for a custom tune which of course I understand is the best option for the bike but at around $700AU I am wondering if there are any viable options that will give an acceptable level of AF ratio and tune?
Thanks in advance for any assistance on this one guys...

Every slip-on I've ever seen is basically the same. The variables are total length and inner diameter (which, by rights should be the same as the inner diameter of the midpipe). Any slip-on map for cans of similar length and I.D. should be fine. The wildcard in comparing the '08 and up header to '06-'07 is the larger overall i.d. and whether or not the third, inner collector cat has been removed. '06 and '07 owners using slip-ons don't have to deal with that as the cats (2) were in the cans. But those later models also had 2mm larger i.d. pipes to make up for the restriction of the 3rd cat.
