8.44 @ 158.28 mph on a 2012 ZX-14r

From Brook Davidson Facebook Page:

‘Regular Guys’ are at it again! Brock’s and Z Performance customer Tim King’s recent purchase of a 2012 ZX-14R has just paid off BIG TIME. At the hands of local jockey T-Wright, (AKA Tommy Wright to his mamma) Tim’s 14R has just thrown down an amazing 8.44 @ 158.28 MPH! The nearly new bike (260 miles) does not have nitrous oxide and sports only bolt-on parts including a Brock’s Performance TiWinder exhaust, DragShock EZ, Clutch Mod, Air Shifter Components, Window Links and Front End Lowering Kit, Alisyn oil and Petron Additive.

T-Wright on Tim King's ZX-14R... Is his 8.44 the new quickest all bolt-on ZX-14R in the country?

In other words, he spent another $5,000+ on the bike and thats what he got for it. And its useless on anything with more than a 20 degree curve in it.

Going around curves is overrated but that's just my opinion of course. I'm sure there are many more that think setting up a bike to run better times at the drag strip is the stupidest thing on planet earth. I'm really impressed with this new effort. I just wish I could get that 100 pound dude they've got riding to try mine a time or two.

I think he did awesome. But then, I am "slightly" biased because I love drag racing, lol.
