The weather here is a bit warm and muggy (89 degrees and 62% humidity) but I'm going racing tonight if no thunderstorms pop up.

It's been almost 5 months since I've been at the track and to be honest, I've only been on the bike 3 times in the last 2 months! I know. Not a good record but when the northerners are all tucked away for the winter, I'll be in my prime season for riding.

With the weather this muggy I don't expect any runs in the 9.80's but by the time I hit the track, it should be in the lower 80's. I'm going to try tonight running on 1/2 a tank of fuel instead of a full tank. It may be fruitless with wheelies but it'll be fun just the same.

No records were broken last night with quickest et's, that's for sure. What blew me away was my consistancy. The last 3 passes were close.

The bike just wasn't running all that strong I think due to the overall conditions. It was in the low 80's and you could "see" the air under the lights. If I can do this again, I'll be going for my NHRA license and do some bracket racing.

Man, sounds like a lot of fun !
