Aftermarket Suspension

Time to mod my suspension. Going to trash the stock shock, I had a Penske on my 954RR before I sold that bike, and, I could feel every ripple and incantation in the pavement! I loved that level of feedback, and, hope to reclaim some of that feedback and performance on my ZX. So, anyone know of a source/seller for Penske shocks? And, anyone have put one on their bike? If so, share some pics? Coolness!

T-bolt has one on his slime green '09 and reports he loves it compared to the stocker. I was gonna try to ride it last weekend in Arkansas, but it didn't work out.

I went with Ohlins suspension front and rear from Kyle racing. They are a great company to deal with, not sure if they sell Penske shocks but it would be worth checking. Maybe consider Ohlins as well, I love mine.

I cant recommend a Penske and a revalving, respring of the forks enough!
Did it for doing track days years ago and still love it. I mostly tour with my bike now but the mods work well for anything.
I raised my rear ride height 1 1/2 inches and slid my forks 'down' 1/2 inch. Gained needed ground clearance and much quicker turn in. Its no 600 Super Sport but a much more able cornering machine.

Penske shock. GP North forks
Custom Leather seat
And too many other mods.
Track Bike morphing into a sporttourer
ZG touring screen, risers, Buell pegs, etc.

And a couple of other Kawi's
