Repacking your muffler
11/05/12 1:30 PM

What up, fellas? Yosh and 2bros talk about how important it is to repack their mufflers every 7-10K miles. Has anyone ever repacked and did you see a significant bump in performance? Seems like a waste of time to me. Is there an aftermarket exhaust that doesn't require repacking?

Repacking has nothing to do with power or performance the packing in your cans is to keep the decibels down and as the packing burns off your exhaust note will get louder!

Also if you continue to run it for years with out packing it puting several thousand miles on it at least in the case of the Carbon Yoshi the carbon end cap will degrade and look like crap! Know how I know that? :>{
