Will a power bronze rear Hugger be ok on my 07 zx14 with 180.55 or 190.55?

Should be fine. I just bolted up an L-P cf hugger. BTW, why would you put that puny 180 tire on a 6" rim?

If you want serious turn in go with a Penske or Ohlins shock and add rear ride height. I have a Penske with 1 1/2" rise. Its like a different bike. I also had the forks revalved and heavier springs all around.

This means the rear shock is 1.5" longer between the top pivot and the bottom....you have more distance between the rear tire and the undertail?

+ 1 on the shock upgrade for better turning. Beside just raising the rear with the tire put more weight on the forks. The OEM front end is vague to start with so if you want better steering upgrade on front and rear suspension as well.
I'm sure it's fine but you never know. I would stay away from the 180! I have a Geelong hugger (mucho dinero) but the way it fits is second to none. The Geelong hugger starts lower than the swing arm while Powerbronze's rests on the swingarm if I remember correct. The power bronze is fine but the Geelong fit is better let alone the CF finish bling bling!
Ok now to answer your question. I think but could be wrong that the Geelong offer a little more clearance between tire and hugger than the powerbronze. That being said forget about the hugger, it is all about the tire profile. The Q 2 rear is huge in my opinion... when new, Gravel stock in the thread would hit my pricy hugger so hard I could hear it. A few WOT application later the tire was a perfect fit lol With the PR3 I do not have that problem. I think that my favorite tire: Pirelli Rosso Corsa will also fit without any shimming. If you have some issues just make some brackets out of stainless steel or aluminum (easy fix).

Thanks dragking and Skiffman. I will put that on the mods to do list.
I really wish someone would make a hugger without the chain guard for the 14. If someone made one would you buy it assuming it fit well or am I the only one who wants a v chain guardless hugger?
