First day with the bike ... D'oh!

Hey guys!

After a long time i decided to wash up the ZZR1400 and take her for a spin.
The battery seemed to be empty (i knew it needed replacement soon). SO! I rushed
to the store, got a new battery and she sounded promising when i pushed the power button,
but nope... No life. D'oh!

Put her on a battery charger now and hoping that will help...

Current:
ZZR1400 - 2006
ER-500 - 2003 (GF's)

Ex Girlfriends:
YZF600 - 2001

It is not unusual to purchase a new batter that has not been charged, I usually stick mine on the trickle charger before I install and fire her up! One would think though that the dealer would ensure your bat was fully charged!

Thanks bud! And you were right, after charging the battery she fired up!

I was told the battery comes fully charged from the factory, so there would be no charging needed... not entirely
true i guess!

Sometimes these bats sit for so long they lose charge...Great to know my brotha that you are back on the road!
