Just wondering about the placement of the Kawasaki graphics on the '06 model. I noticed some have the Raised chrome Kawasaki badge above the indicator on the side fairing and some like mine have flat chrome lettering on the tank and ninja on the front side fairing. Is this just a aussie / euro / US model difference ?

Mine had the raised zx14 on tail sides, I removed. Thinking my fuel tank is blank. I have a late yr 06. I know I really did ot answer question though.

The US 06 has a raised chrome KAWASAKI emblem on the side fairing above the blinker. Ninja ZX-14 is on the tail and I think that is just a flat sticker.

07 is the same graphics as my 08. Raised chrome ZX-14 on the tail. KAWASKAI on the gas tank. Ninja on the side. I think that came to be the gen1 scheme up to present.

Thanks for the info fellas, much appreciated. Most times Oz models run into the next years model because the bikes are released here after the rest of the world, sometimes a mix and match of past and new models. I do prefer the raised kawa logo on the fairings.
A very big THANK YOU to ROOK for his very detailed thread on fairing removal for newbies, made a real prick of a job a hell of a lot easier !!!!!!
