Can anybody think of a reason why I could'nt mount these Hayabusa Helibars

into the stock clipons from a ZX14 if I pulled the bars out?

I'm not asking if I SHOULD. I'm asking if the Busa helibars will slide into the ZX14 clipon ends the same way they do on a Busa. I think both bikes have the same handlebar diameter. Kind of thinking outloud, I guess.

Can't think of a reason at all. I think you would have to drill the ends and tap the hole to fit the holding screw used on the zx-14 bars. They both look like 22mm bars to me anyway. The alignment pin hoes will be different and the bar length might also be different and you may have to rethink bard ends. I am pretty sure a crafty person could make it work tho. Go for it!

Yeah, I knew I'd have to do something about the alignment pins. I have a set of Throttlemeisters from the CBR I sold. I'm gonna find a way to make them work with the Helis as well.

I'm pretty sure this will work without too many unforeseen problems, but it's reassuring to have a few people agree.

I'm curious what the Hayabusa helis do. Are those after market bars that raise the hand grips? Might learn something new today.

@Rook-According to Helibars website, they are 1&5/8" Taller, 1/2" Rearward and 1/2" Wider than the stock straight Busa handlebars.

P.s. Does anyone know where to get the longer bolts needed to stack Heli and Genmar risers on a ZX14 without having to order them? I've tried Home Depot, Lowes and Ace hardware. I believe they are M8 X 1.25 X 70mm stainless socket head cap screws. Thanks.
