Big warning. Most soft bags hang over the seat and rest on the tail fairings. This cracks the mounts resulting in the tail fairings falling off. ( Ask me how I know...) I got the Blaze system from Twisted Throttle and SW Motech. It uses a support bar to keep the weight of the bags off the bodywork. Expensive but effective.

I had been using saddle/tail bags by "Mototech Motocentric". They were great> I loved them.
Well I did have one minor problem, though. If you throw them over your bike don't forget to properly secure them together and to the bike using the straps and hooks. If not secured properly, they could fall of and then get wedged between tire and fender or get really wedged between tire and swingarm. This results in melted, smoking bags, lost or ruined content, and black melted goo on tire, shock, swingarm, rear brake, chain etc. and the need to purchase new bags. I was hoping to buy same bags but can't find any. Every search says "discontinued, not available, or out of stock"
