Could some kind person tell me what this thing plugs into? It's under the seat. I'm at a loss...

I think that's a simple foam spacer/bumper that slides in there between the fairing and the metalwork...the plug doesn't go anywhere,except where it's at.There should be another 'bundle' that goes into that foam?Unless that's a cutout to go over a projection in there?Maybe check the manual for "rear fairing".OR...'ECU fitment'

That's on my Gen1. Second hole has always been empty.

BTW, bg, Photobucket is officially out of service today but I will get those pics in the brake line tut as soon as photobucket is in service again. Hope the guy can wait.

Wish I had taken a picture before I pulled it out. It kind of fits rearward of the toolkit box between the side of the frame and the ECU/relay stack. -bg
