Does anyone know if the previous years seat will fit the new 2012 14?

You know...it just might.I saw a video of Ricky Gadsen riding what looked like a late model Green and Black zx14...with the 2012 seat and cowl on there.Don't know HOW they did that exactly,but it seemed to fit on there.Maybe they switched out the rear side fairings to get it to match up?I know...that's the OPPOSITE of your question...but....

bobk, go to kawasaki.com and look at parts fiche (or bike bandit or ron ayers) for the 2011 and the 2012 and see if the seat pan has the same part number. Or if the latch parts are the same part number.

That will give you a pretty good idea.

Yes and so will the Corbin. Both my old 08 seat and the Corbin that I had on the 08 will fit on my 2012. Only difference is that the 2012 cowling does not look right on the 08 seat or the Corbin seat.

Thanks, I have the Sargent with the back trunk soI won't have to worry about that aspect. Now to find a bike at the right price and then paint the trunk to match.
