cruise control/healtech quick shift easy

Anyone thinking of putting cruise control on there zx14, I went with the breakaway 7CP02 cruise control and it fits perfect and no modification, on my 2012 zx14R, also I just installed the healtech quick shift easy on my friends 2013 zx14R and my 2012 zx14R and let me tell you it's unbelievable, my friend has been testing it for a couple of days and he is very happy, the bike pulls like freight train when shifting gears and shifts very smooth and precise, feels like a different bike. Anyone doing this mod make sure that you set the sensitivity on 50 or 60 for a start, high sensitivity which means the lower number, be careful we tested the shifter at high sensitivity from 12 to 30 and the bike was missing shifts and jumping out of gear, we are still testing, will have to test the sensitivity at 50 to 55 to see what happenends and the ms or time the bike kills in order for the bike to shift is set at 75, you can go lower, what ever works for you. We also did the brocks clutch kit, and what a difference..

Welcome Aboard, TopGun.

Ride your pace, dont get too distracted by the "stuff", focus on your skills.

I use the BrakeAway cruise control, too. It just works.

As far as cruise, there is this kit for the C14:

Murph's Kits

It's not really C14 specific so I'm sure that it would be adaptable to the ZX14 also.

2012 Kawasaki Concours 14
2005 Honda GL1800 GoldWing
2002 Kawasaki ZRX1200R

$180 (Kit) + $17 (Vacuum canister) is probably the least expensive automatic cruise control kit I've seen. Though I find it funny how much emphasis goes into "It was never marketed nor endorsed as a motorcycle cruise control" and at the same time offers a ton of links on how to install them in a motorcycle.

Its kind of like Super Soaker having a big disclaimer stating that their water guns should NEVER be used for the consumption of alcohol and then offering a bundle deal including a "Water Blaster" & a mickey of vodka at checkout...

jwh20, have you actually installed this on your bike? (the cruise control, not the vodka filled water gun)
