I always have fun with this kind of stuff... Comparing a $200,000 car after tax to our bikes:
(Still, you can't drink your latte at 160 mph on the bike)

Funny you post this. I raced a 2014 S last weekend or the one before. Still had the temp tags on it. We were on a highway, doing about 70mph and I was following him and anxious to pass. I passed him on the right and as soon as I passed him and he was just behind me I could tell he floored it - I saw the rear squat and the car accelerated. I was in 3rd and just twisted it to the stop and went through a gear or two.
I shut it down at about 145 and I had ~15 car lengths on him.
Stunning car.

+1 ... and take that race to Deals Gap. We would get thur it faster. I guarantee the driver in the car will have to slow down or stop due to motion sickness :) Never gets to me on the bike... the dragon makes me want to puke on anything with more than 2 wheels. Including my buddies Can-am Spyder.

Come on brother! We usually make it one once a year. We stay at the dragons rest cabins at the bottom of the dragon in robbinsville nc. Nice couple own them, fire pit, grills, bike wash station and so on.
We always shoot for late May during the week, waaaaay less people and LEOs. We run the cherohala skyway too. Now that road is made for the 14. Huge sweeping corners as you climb a mile high and 50 miles long. I love 70mph+ corners with nothing but a 500' drop off your right. Makes your ass suck to the seat and your sack swell. Although both of those side affect make it hard to lean over LOL.
