Was just ruffling ur feathers!! I haven't even been to our track here in years, the city was trying to take over the land for a new dump, or dump tailing pond... so I hear that the maintainence on the track has slid greatly and has almost become unsafe as it is inevitable the city will take the land... It was once a great track there was an oval, a road race course and a drag... I shud try a road race track day before its closed, but have heard that it is very rough and uneven... anyways that was a pretty sweet run Slow... keep it up and you can change ur name!! lol

Yes, there is certainly room for improvement in the clutch. This was the first day I played with my lockup, 5th pass ever with a lockup in. I know what i need to do to improve it, I just didn't have the parts there to do it. Would have improved my 60' and 330' greatly if i had them there which would have been easy teens and possibly some 0's or 7s.
I'm learning, but i'm learning very quickly.

It sounded like it came in to soon on the static springs but its hard to tell not being there.
I have no doubt you'll get her wright the way that thing runs.
How big is the motor' i mean if you want to give that info out .
If not no problem was just curious..............

I don't keep any secrets, it's a 1570 with a stock head and muzzy cams.
The static is right where it needs to be, the bog you're hearing is the arms engaging. The hold back springs are worn out and sloppy (i bought the unit used), i'm certain if i replace the hold back springs with stronger ones it will hold the arms back longer and allow the engine to get up into the power band. The 60' was only 1.41, the bog happened about 40' out, no doubt if it was gone the 60' would have been closer to 1.37s or so.

Man what a testimonial to the torque that thing is making to have those arms all in and still pull herself down the track like that. WOW!
It almost sounds like a gear change at that bog point but the motor never skips a beat she just picks it wright back up!
That bike has 7's in it all day long dialed in on that clutch. Great job...........

I can't decide if I want to put the bike into real street trim or pro street trim. If it goes into real street trim it will be a while before it gets into the 7s, however if i put it in pro street trim it will be a while before i get it where it's competitive.. what to do, what to do?

Are kidding'' With that mph on a stock head? Your a lot closer to pro street
Considering that you would have to change your clutch set up for real street and i don't know how big a shot your running but with some head work and if you decide to run pro so you will dedicate the tune up on the entire bike to that class id say you would be in the hunt.
I think you could qualifie in either class but man i wish i had such a tuff decision to make. LOL
Good luck either way. Keep us posted on the progress this is a very interesting post..........

I've been running a real street type setup, like i said this was my first go-round with a lockup and at 70" w/b. I didn't even get to play with the suspension at all.
I'm spraying an 80 hp wet shot, but the controller was set very conservatively.
