I would like to have dual shorty pipes on each side. I tried google searching thins and didn't find anything. Has anyone ever seen something like this for sale? I may have to build my own, but I would prefer a manufactured finish...

I would really like to have 2 upswept pipes on each side.
4 header pipes, 4 exhaust openings. I have a couple of ideas but no ability to make it. I think 4 into 1 into 4 to allow evening out of the cylinders similar to an X pipe on a car, then back out into 4 individual pipes for sound, and appearance.
Whatya think?

If that path for exhaust flow worked well for performance, you can bet that it would be available. All the full systems are 4 head pipes into a short Y shaped section (2 into 1) that goes no farther than under the motor. Then the single midpipe goes straight back to the muffler. Unless you have dual mufflers. Then I believe you still have your Y shaped collector but it opens to 2 mid pipes just like the OEM system does. I have seen dual exit mufflers but I would guess that is just the muffler having two holes, nothin fancy about the rest of the system. My guess is that it is all for looks or else you'd be seeing Brocks making that sort of pipe.
If you are trying to invent a better performing pipe than what is currently available on the market, I think you will be chasing your tail. If it is just for appearance, have at 'er. I doubt if it would hurt performance much but better have a tune for what ever contraption you come up with.

Something like this?
Might be a lot easier to weld and grind on a set of those mufflers to fit them to a ZX-14 stock midpipe. rip the cats out, save some weight and run cooler too + increase flow pretty close to a full system I would think.

Your work filter is very strict. It lets you come here to talk about motorcycle exhausts but yuo are not allowed to view them!
