We do not forget, the call to arms, the sacrifice, as our mothers' wept their only begotten sons
Stood tall upon the field, battle worn, with shrapnel and cold steel, flags burned and torn
The call to arms, service of the great and losses immeasurable the names listed on memorial plate
Answer you did, and sacrifice, you gave your soul and surrendered your life,
White crosses mark your untimely grave, fought you did, proud and brave
Upon my chest I pin your greatest achievement as so many families paid with bereavement
Thank you soldier for what you had done, the flank split, your regimen, the warrior tales and farewell song
Upon mother earth I can walk tall and free, for all the sacrifices over land, air and sea
I salute you veteran upon this day, we lay a wreath and take silence and dismay
For the soldier is the first line of defense, thank you all our fighting men and women
You service lives on as we are free, to chase our lives, and feed our family
Lest we forget the price you paid, surround we shall the soldiers' unmarked grave
For hard won you fell, and hard one you fought, we all remember you in our November hearts
