How do you adapt akrapovic pipes for an 08 to install on a 06?

I know this topic has been adressed here but I don't recall the orecise answer. According to Hub who seems to be MIA these days, it was possible to fit G1 slipons to a G2 and vice versa. I believe you had to just switch gaskets and they would fit.
Hope that helps a little. I'm sure you will find the answer if you do some searching around here.

I checked Q&A, PERformance Upgrades and Maintanance and that is all I could find. Personally, since you already have the pipes, I would try them out with the gasket you have. The 08 pipes are bigger so that should crush in on the 06 gasket and seal. Otherwise, I guess you could try an 08 gasket.
Hope you get some more feedback.
