Has anyone experienced hot ankles while riding in warmer weather? Seems hot air venting thru engine ends up right on my feet. Whats a easy fix? Will wrapping pipes help out?

If you think your bike is bad, you should try the earlier ones. They cook your feet like nothing else. Like was said before, proper riding boots and pants are your best bet. Not saying you ride in jeans and tennis shoes, but if you do, you're gonna feel the heat more.

Don't feel the heat on the SFZX-14, bike runs at 150's to 180's. It runs a heck of a lot cooler without all the stuff on it compared with running down the road next to other ZX-14's. The ZX-10 always runs around 180-203 and I can feel the heat roll out from the fairings onto my legs.

If I wear my Reeboks.... my right foot gets pretty warm, to where I have to wing my toes out a bit to catch some air. If I have my boots on... it never really bothers me at all. It never seems to affect the left side though. I wear Draggin Jeans with Kevlar and the heat is never felt on my legs...... although at 90* or above they get kinda warm, as they don't breath as well as regular jeans.
The enjoyability factor always out weighs my little bit of uncomfortablility issues though. :)
