Hi, it's been a long time. Can someone take a picture of the 2 little silver brackets that hold the air duct top covers at the front ? It's the brackets with the rubber nuts in them. I stupidly didn't take any pictures.

This one? The well nut is for the front screw of the ram air cover. If I remember correctly, there's a circular plastic wire retainer on these brackets as well. That wire retainer is cropped out of the picture. I believe that wire retainer held the headlight wires. ...pretty sure on that, it's been a long time for me too. I could look it up in the SM for you. I'm sure there's a diagram of that part in the hose and wire routing chapter.

...a few more here under Upper Fairing (Top Fairing, Nose, Upper Cowl) a little less than halfway down the page.
exactly what did you forget, if I may ask, where the brackets mount to? The third pic, View of inside of upper fairing, headlight connections shows the inside of the top fairing. The brackets mount to the rounded triangular protrusion. The LH mount is right above the letter C in the picture.
It's coming back to me, mad. It's all flooding back like an acid flashback! It was all a very good trip though so I'm glad. Glad to continue with the Gen2 now too.
