Thanks everybody. And yes October 1st once in a while it snows. But you can't really count the 18 inches we got in May this year...

I'm new here as a member, but I've been lurking for quite some time. Nasty you are just right up the road from me in Jackson. I'm down in Spirit Lake/Okoboji Iowa (tourist-central). I think I may have seen your bike once or twice around here, for sure once at Arnolds Park if I remember right?

Hit me up sometime we should trade notes or maybe catch a bite to eat.

And welcome Bo! I am up in the cities pretty regularly for day and weekend trips, I always attend the Simply Street Bikes (used to be simply sport bikes) annual Kickoff ride. Last year I made the trip to Brainerd where it was held, on my 08 CBR1000RR. Long haul but the track time was worth it alone!

I'm sure you have seen me cruising the loop at one time or another last summer! I'm always cruising the lakes. All this time and I thought I was the only zx14r rider in the area! Nast-C you probably were the only one on a 14R in the area until last fall. I went down to Des Moines to pick mine up. Where'd you get the SE at?

Hit up my thread in this section titled "Iowa 14R" and we don't have to hijack this one lol.

By the way I thought I read on here somewhere that you used to work at Polaris? I work there now on 803... small world.

Jackson Cycle right in town is where I bought mine. Took a raping keeping business local, payed full MSRP.

Yep I worked at Polaris for a while a few years back. Worked on the victory line the same time they started building the vision.
