VA State Inspection Sticker
04/20/20 7:49 AM

HI All,

Planning to get the new bike registered and inspected soon in Virginia. Does anyone know if they mount the sticker on the top section of the clutch side fork tube or somewhere else?
If its the fork tube, that's fine for me as its not very visible, but if its anywhere else i may plan to fab a custom plate mount and was thinking that the front wheel left side reflector mount might be a good spot..

Any input is appreciated thx

The fork is a service disassembly part, meaning, don't put it there, or you'll never slide it out of the lower triple tree. Make a plate lower than the reflector. Can't remove the reflector being a fed requirement.

Every 7,500 miles is a steering inspection and bearing repack. You will keep the one fork clamped to the lower, which btw, I keep both forks bolted to the triple, and remove the forks and triple as one unit.

I'd search the dmv online, look at the bike section, find where all the possible places they use for the bike tag.

Thanks for the advice.. the bike actually has a PA inspection sticker already on the fork tube from the previous owner so ill need to look into removing that.
I will see about a plate attached to the reflector point to slide behind the reflector and sit below as suggested
