4. Wrap the PAIR switch in glad cling wrap so it tacks closed.

6. Ziz-tie the unit off [whatever] is safe and out of the way of things hot and/or moving. No code here guy!
7. Zip bag the hoses w/intakes.
8. Write down what those hose is are for what?
9. Where did these hose say, I got an idea.
10. Say, you guys got a map for my hose bag? Runs like fill in the blank. All black soot tea looking.

I had the same question. That was a rumor started by Ivan. It is untrue (although I would not try to steer you away from buying his blockoff kit with the terminator plug).

I have done both blocking of PAIR and removal with blockoff plates installed. No code with either one.

There is a connector to the switch valve that must be disconnected. It just hangs there after removal. It will not cause a code if it is disconnected.

I found it. And just updated w my opinion about Muzzy's BO plates. (just get the brand of plates that look the nicest, IMHO).
