What's the next bike you will own, next to the 14 of course.

I've got my 14, and, I'm keeping it! It's payed for, basically brand new, never down, only 13K miles, couple of minor mods here and there. I'm going to put the bag kit on it from Twisted Throttle, but, I want another steed to ride when the mood hits me.

I rode the (and fell in love with it) the Victory Hammer S. This thing was a bit heavy at first to steer due to the fat rear tire (which I likely won't buy b/c of that) but that engine, the comfort, the sound, the power and the 'stance', I felt like a bad ass on it! I think the cheaper models like the Vegas are more likely something I'll have in my garage next to my 14, and our Ducati 800 SS.

Anyone else got a Victory with their 14?

I think it's going to be 600 cc track bike. Anything that is cheap and already modded.

I've got a bad lust for a MV Agusta F4. I just need to pay the house off first, which is soon.
So, until then I'll just dream..........

186 in 7 seconds or less. Very little roads to stretch it out in. Up down, who did WOT? Rail it, wall it waiting. While we're young!

Triumph Daytona 675, its always been my dream bike. Id like to get into track days and the Daytona would be perfect. As for my next cruiser, probably a Victory since they are American made but not a Harley

For WATT it's worth. I took the pepsea cloak test just to see. If I made the same cloak over my eyes, held two different wire harnesses for sheer quality? I'm color coding a few wires. Find a color on a late model yam wire harness. Saw the other wire color in the harley harness. Both are FI harnesses. Damn that harley feels good! That is some easy engineering at the clips, last forever kind of supple plastic or nice rubber feel over the wires kind of texture. Wear out my razor kind of go through the tape. The yam wiring was lighter in gauge as in; mm vs. inch. Tape was thin. Plastic tube over the wires were nothing to compare with the rubber tubing used on the h-d harness.

That harness is like the bread they serve you before your dinner. If that bread has an out of sight taste... Food has to taste even better, if they selected that quality kind of harness... The rest of the bike should follow, I would assume? Don't mention yap'inn'knees parts on the h-d. I didn't say the yap crap was crap. It is a hands on kind of feel the goods. Don't get me started on that eyesore. You already know who's coming in 3rd.

^^ Not exactly sure what you are trying to say Hub lol. Because the wiring harness is well made on the H-D the rest of the bike is good? For the record I don't dislike Harley's because of the quality, I just don't like to ride the same thing everyone else and they're brother do. I like to be different, hence why I bought a 14.

What I meant, soldier, was the h-d is pretty much big, has a lot of simple parts that last a long time; Are abused, but hold up years down the road. On the find my bike in the parking lot, I have to disagree. Find the right parts hanger picker, it will look different somehow. I'm handed the stuff to bolt on is all. This is not my bike.

Has potential, no?

Donny, if you like big cruisers & before you drop the ball on a Victory, try the Triumph Thunderbird. I have also demoed several Victories (for shits & giggles). They are good, but if you are looking for a large cruiser, the Triumph Thunderbird IMHO wins hands down (which I also demoed). Triumph is also great with demo days. Check them out. Even the "little" Thruxton/Bonneville are a hoot!

But...onto the question, I have had a long time crush on the 675 Daytona (just like soldier above). The sound of the engine at high rpms is intoxicating and pure music. Demoed a Daytona about a half dozed times by now. Someday, I would like to see Triumph offer a liter Daytona. I would probably get tapped for that!

I have to agree. I am thinking.....Junior will be done with his Ninja 250 soon and I know has an eye on my '09 ZX-6R. That would free a spot for the 675.

I've got the 14 for all around faster riding and my '79 GS1000 for going on classic bike rides and such.
Now I'd like to get something that will go anywhere. Something I don't care if it gets scratched or ridden in the rain, etc. So I'm thinking a KLR 650 or something similar. Not sure how comfortable those types of bikes are but it seems like fun to just go out and explore. Take a side road anytime I want. Maybe a few days or even longer. Most of the scenic byways are still dirt and with this kind of bike I could pack up some light camping gear and go anywhere.
