PC5 Mapping '16 14r
04/20/20 9:38 AM

Forgive me in advance if I missed an earlier thread! I've recently purchased a PC5 for the ol girl because she was feeling a bit choppy and not all there with the modifications that I have already done. Having that I just spent all my "allowance" that my wife has allotted me, I came to realize that the auto tune feature was in fact NOT included with the PC5 . That being said the auto tune is another 260 dollars, and a Dyno tune ranges between 250 and 400 dollars. FINALLY my question is, if anyone has a similar set up with similar conditions would be so kind as to shareing there map with me to get me in the ball park until it's time to buck up and drop some more cash on a Dyno tune to dial it in! Thank you in advance!

2016 zx14r
Coffman's dual shorty slip ons, baffles in (for now ).
BMC street air filter (non race)
Stock everything else as far as I know, according to the dealer..

Mostly dry environment, about 2000 feet above sea level. 99% of the time it's street driven.

PC website should have some free maps if you want to start from there.

Keep in mind if you plan on doing Auto tune you will need to remove the pair system (or block it) & weld an O2 bung on your exhaust. Good luck with the tuning.

Suzy1052 stand by on that one, I may take you up on that..

Fazer, I've searched that site, along with other similar tuneing sites, and many many forums. I can't find anything remotely similar to my set up.. I'm running stock headers with the stock o2 sensor, just coffman's shorty slip ons.

Have you considered just getting a flash from someone like Ivans or Nels? They will have a perfect flash for you and it will cost the same or less than a full auto tune set up. You will feel more of a difference with a flash. Plus ALOT less work to pull an ecu versus plugging pair, welding o2 sensor, and installing autotune.

these are the free tunes you can try out. See if any of the slip on variants help.

Cheers.
