Today Pete (birdmanf16) and I took a little spin on our 14Rs up and over Washington Pass on Highway 20. We started in Arlington, had lunch at Three Finger Jacks in Winthrop, then headed home.
The road conditions were fantastic, with smooth, dry pavement all the way up and over. There were the usual frost heaves and such, which can be a bitch on a bike this big, but we managed. :) It was nice having a competent riding partner when things got fast, and especially so given the size and power of this machine. It's a Hell of a lot easier hustling a superbike through those corners than a 14R, but Pete was rock solid and reliable. You can be my wingman any time, brother!
There aren't any pics of the road or riding, but that's likely a good thing. We set a pace that would best be described as... extralegal. We stopped at the top to take some pics to share with our fellow horsepower-loving meatheads, however.
