I made 4 runs today and I finally delved into the 8.9xx range. There was a guy at the track that told me to just go ahead and bite the bullet and pin the throttle at the 3rd yellow and slip the hell out of the clutch and that's exactly what I did. I spun a little off of the line and I bumped the rev limiter slightly at the top of first but after that all went smooth. This was not the smoothest 8.9xx run but oh well that was the best I could do.

Rook, for now I think I'm content. I'm very near my skill limit--the only way I could get to low 8's would be with a slider clutch and a turbo!
