Odd noise coming from under the tank somewhere. If the bike is in neutral with the clutch pulled it, it sounds normal. As soon as I let go of the clutch there's a bubbling or gargling sound that occurs.. Does anyone have this problem?

Throttle body out of sync:
Crank to Clutch has a chain in the middle for 1 to 1 locking connections. 4 cylinders should pulse evenly. Move one pulse out of sync, the chain whips on the next pulse. Kind of jerks the clutch basket in the off pulse on the next come around of the next cylinder fire.
Then the basket whips the plates like a tick or a bellow knocking sound. You pull the clutch in, this separates the big basket (remove oil cap and look) from the center basket. You can move the back wheel in gear, watch the plates bang the outer fork fingers of the basket. That is the knocking noise.
When that sync is spot on, the pulse acts as one loop just about. It does not fight the whip around on the off sync. Clutch in-noise goes away scenario = Sycn throttle body to eliminate plate banging the hard parts.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEe6c3KIUB4&feature=grec_index When he comes back to the garage... Listen to the normal - The sound of the beast is the bellow inside - Not a thing you can do... Same cavity, same gong-show.

Thanks, Scott.
john, No, the problem is only your ear and that noise at idle. Once running and loaded... No more noise.
Yes, are the slides in need of sync? Yep. Dead giveaway is a simple clutch pull to find out.
Yes, I am running a lot smoother. Starts faster.
