Anyone tell me where to geta set of silver vortex reasets for my 14?

I have this problem of finding a "good deal" and then someone comes along 2 days after I order and posts a better price.

Here are the best prices I found. Any help from some of you savvy shoppers would be much appreciated. Looks like silvers are a bit scarce. Lots of deals on blacks. I MUST have silver.

Neither one of these says that they can supply the brake pedal switch and I definitely want that.

Dennis Kirk says does not supply rear brake pedal spring.....That part DOES normally come with a set of Vortex reasets, does it not? If I order from Dennis Kirk, how am I going to get the spring and the Brake light switch? Can/should I just use the stock brake pedal spring (seems like it would be nice to have a new one).

---if any of you guys know. I emailed the sellers just now (there was a nice lady who answered at Dennis Kirk but she was not able to tell me much and suggested I try calling back tomorrow) but value any input you guys can give.

HERE is the pressure switch you'll need for your brake light to function. If you wanna search for a better price, or just pick one up from a local shop, any 10mm x 1.25 thread pitch will work... or the Vortex part # is RS100.

The rearsets do not normally come with a return spring for the rear brake pedal. They do not use one. The master cylinder does the job just fine w/o any assistance.

Unless I'm mistaken, using the front brake alone will light the brake lights. So maybe that brake pedal switch isn't so important. I didn't even install it when I put on my Vortex rear sets.

I don't use the rear brake much at all, and I never use it without also using the front brake... -bg

You're not mistaken... the brake light will still activate normally with the front brake. My reasoning for using the pressure switch for the rear was that I wanted my brakelight on when stopped in traffic... as typically my left foot is on the ground and my right foot is on the rear brake.... This leaves my right hand free for picking my nose.

Since it looks like you're gonna save a little $$$, while you're at it, THIS looks right up your alley.

And if you do the rear, might as well do the FRONTS also.

OEM are fine but that blue would go great with my color scheme. I have done zip research on brake lines. I wonder if I would end up wanting to go with something else?

I might just let the chips fall with the brakes lines. Can't get too far ahead of myself on the modding. I still have the APE CCT to put on the 14 not to mention the damper and the rearsets (and the levers if I ever get the time to screw with them enough to make them work) (and the grips).

I had Goodridge lines on my '06 and the fit and finish was top notch... and those prices in the links I posted are about 50% off of retail...
