I was strolling through one of the venues at thunder beach and happened up on a dyno jet/powercommander trailer that was doing dyno runs/tuning. There was a 1700 cc harley on the dyno that they tuned to a whopping 77hp. The owner was so proud . He had the record for the day. The record for the event was 181 held by a busa. I could not resist heres what happened next.

The Harley pulled 77HP? That is awesome! That's litterally twice the HP that my wife's Suzuki Savage makes... How does that Harley guy control that much power??? Too much power for the street... lol

Harleys are great for doing useful things like pulling old refrigerators to the junk yard and other such tasks that require low end grunt.

Man these new 14rs are incredible, my man pulled 196hp with D&D slip ons. That's a bad ass bike!!

That's right Harley boy... that's right ;)

Bad thing is those slip ons are modified of my 07 14 which I feel a too small for this thing. I knew it would be better than the 178 my 07 made but i didnt think it would be that good.

I was looking at a V Rod Muscle at the Harley dealer the other day and the guy was boasting that it was Harley's HP king and laid down around 125-135 HP. And it weighs as much as old cadillac eldorado

ANd from a performance standpoint, that is the baddest bike of the Harley line, from what I gather. .

But, to each his own. Some of them scruffy harley guy sure can land some hot pieces of a*s on them bikes. Gotta either give em credit..........or take away credit from the women attacted to em........not sure which.....LOL

if I were to get a cruiser type bike, it'd be a Ducati Diavel.

I dont have anything against harleys i like the way some of them look and i have tons of buddies with them. Just some of them think there is nothing better and that they have the baddest bike ever. those are the ones I like to wake up. I was at thunder beach with 8 buddies on cruisers.
