Just got mine in the Patriot colors yesterday. So far I really like this helmet, very light at 3.44 lbs (3 lbs 7 ounces)in an XL size. This is HJCs entry into the high end market, well put together IMHO.

This is the same helmet that Ben Spies wears in the Monster Energy graphics, supposed to work very well at high speed to reduce buffeting, turbulence etc. Will know soon enough.

Wondered if anyone else had tried one.

I had the HJC BT-Max IS for my Chatterbox, but just the other day I put the HJC in the trash out on the curb.

Their flip up helmets suffer latch misalignment and start locking closed or not locking at all.

So I threw it away. Hopefully they do a better job on their conventional helmets.

Sorry to hear that, everyone I've talked to with the RPS-10 has loved it. Maybe you got a dud, it happens.
