go the red power ranger.....
09/09/10 8:10 PM

well after 20 odd years of riding, I finally went out and brought myself my first set of leathers

not my first choice of colour, but I got em at a clearance house, they are a good brand and they were marked down from $2200 to $1200

GO THE RED POWER RANGER !!

they feel kinda weird, almost like Im riding naked, probably cause Im used to riding with the considerable bulk of a fabric jacket and pants. they fir well but they are a little 'pinchy in the shoulders when I lean into a corner..... is this normal for a new suit ??

Thanks blue..... its a good suit, but I feel the scrapers are a bit of overkill..... I dont anticipate taking the shine off em anytime soon :)

External Ti armor plates on shoulders AND elbows, speed hump-------very nice! Good deal too. Hope the pinchy shoulders loosen up for you pretty quick. If that is a two piece, I'm sure it will in no time as you are likely to ware the top most of your rides. Pants, on the other hand, most of us aren't going to wear those the majority of the time. They don't soften yup all that quick. A tight fit in pants can be scary because that can cause quite a bit of resistance against lifting your feet onto the pegs. Definitely avoid that. Snug is great but I'd take a little more of an average fit over tight.

The scraper pucks are cool. I haven't touched mine down either.....but I maybe one day.

Yeap, Dainese, wish they made their jackets couple inches longer. For my two piece, I had to buy the jacket size larger Euro No. 56 to go with pants No. 54. That was a perfect match for me.

ozjohnno, if you don't mind me asking where did you get the Santa suit was it in Vic need a new outfit myself. mainly do long runs don't know about leather I know it has a good reputation, but i go through lots of rain and heat from time to time then freeze your ass off. using Dryrider Nordic now, need complete set of play cloths any ideas.
PS don't listen to blue, he used a sander to put scuff marks on his scrapers so he could fit in with boys.
