Let's keep it safe ladies...

and gentlemen

Poems seem to be the current thing,
here on the forum.
So let me write this,
maybe it'll seem less boring.

Been a lot of wreck reports here on the forum.
But it only seems lately, in fact the last couple of weeks.
In which the accidents have seemed to peak?
Lucky for all so far, the bikes have had the worst of it by far!

Could it be that the end of summer is near?
Each of us are getting used to riding, HAVE WE LOST ALL OUR FEAR?

Keep in mind this time of year, the kiddies are back in school again,
and the caged idiots are even more distracted than they've ever been!
Cellphones, fingernails, razors, you cannot afford to waiver being your own lifesaver!
Don't let this happen, don't let yourself become a statistic.
Otherwise you'll end up posting here, with a wadded bike, and feeling a little bit like a dick!

LET'S FINISH THE SEASON WITH NO MORE DOWNS AND NO MORE INJURIES.

I figure if you cross the road before the deer does, it's safer. So I always try to haul major ass to beat them all.

Let's start with these. Wear all the gear, all the time. And never drink and ride.

Somehow, Jimmymac's statement about outrunning the deer makes sense! Lol

Good words. I have to commute 100 miles round trip per day, being aware of idiot stuff is a way of life as i have to split lanes 3/4 of the way daily. i do roughfly 500- 800 miles a week on my bike..Sometimes there's just nothing you can do. I have had close calls daily and i'm always scanning the horizon for things that can take me out. And No I do not feel like Superman when i ride. Yesterday was a day there was no way out. Bammm...My gardian angel was with me and i came home safe with just a banged up knee..Bike is toast, but i live to ride again...

Ride safe guys, be aware, and wear some gear..

Good on you brother. I think there's people that believe they do this, but they actually don't, and then there's the people that actually do.

Keep them eyes peeled. Idiots are everywhere.

I absolutely cannot afford to crash. It would kill me even if I didn't get a scratch.

Dare I say.... don't ride faster than your guardian angel can fly. Please everyone, be super observant when riding. The numbers are stacking up, and costing many of us our safety and our bikes. Keep it real and enjoy, but don't tempt fate, because fate has no conscience.
